Being a patent attorney and a lawyer comes in handy for him while protecting his inventions. He has filed various patent applications under D WA Herbals on innovative products. A speaker in many international and Indian conference, Sushil's long term aim is to contribute of the new age healthcare discovery and delivery products that assist to overcome the new age lifestyle problems. He is aiming to work towards lifestyle corrective and preventive measures, to ensure minimal treatment and thus paving way for predictive healthcare solutions.
He is also a qualified & registered Patent agent with Indian Patent Office. He holds a unique qualification in the field of Science & Technology backed up with and expertise in the field of Law.

Dr. Sushil Kumar started his career as a patent attorney and research advisor and gained expertise in Patent portfolio creation conforming to global standards. He also served as a board member of the consulting company for a significant period. Even during this tenure with research and Patent industry, he was deeply interested in his research and remained an active member of an R&D team, as a senior researcher and also a patent counsel, headed by a Nobel Laureate.
After a successful stint with the law firm he joined hands as a founding member to start an IP solutions company named Clairvolex. He nurtured Clairvolex over years providing customized global solutions in Intellectual Property (IP) domain to many of Fortune 500 companies, trained team members. He was part of the core team who helped the company to stand apart and grow from a 2 member Delhi firm to 200+ IP professionals with 5 global offices. Most recently, he worked as President and responsible for looking after entire global operations. He played a pivotal role in leading the business strategy and develop various customized solutions.
An accomplished IP professional, gained global clientele exposure and developed rich and strong domain knowledge over almost 20 year term with research and IP industry. He terms one of the most important of his learnings as confluence of Business, technology and Law during his tenure with IP industry.

Dr. Sushil Kumar has been a member of various national and international IP fraternity such as, Asian Intellectual property association (APPA), Intellectual Property Organization (IPO), and some others. He is very active in providing technology and law awareness programs, developing in-house expertise in various organizations and research institutions. He is also one of the faculty member for training to Patent examiners with Indian patent office.
With the deep knowledge of business, science, & law and inclination on research & innovation he decided to work with academia and share his knowledge. Now, he works with various research centres, for guiding them on innovation strategies. The imperative is to develop products improving the lifestyle of society and contributing to science. Currently, with association of academia, he is able to develop some innovative products and also filed a number of patent applications globally. He is also on board of a few start-ups and helps them strengthen their innovation and business.
